The Owl’s Nest is the community workshop and meeting place in Haarlem North run by Stichting IRADIS / ASK-Solutions. You can tinker, build and repair here, but you can also just take a moment to land with a cup of coffee or tea.
WWe combine technology and creativity with attention for people who want to learn something new, rebuild after stress or illness, or simply look for a place where they feel welcome.
In the workshop you will meet all kinds of people: local residents, young people and adults, volunteers, people in a reintegration programme and visitors who “just want to have a look”. One person comes for a woodworking or soldering workshop, another for a conversation at the coffee table or to carefully get going again together with a coach. You do not need any experience; we start from where you are now.
