Drawing workshop

What we’re going to do

We start with a short introduction to materials and posture: what kind of paper we use, which pencils and pens, how to sit comfortably at a table, and how to look at a subject. Then we practice step by step. You learn:

We work with simple materials: paper, graphite, fineliners, and optionally a bit of color. The focus is on learning to look and daring to sketch, not on “finishing it neatly”. You can make mistakes, erase, start again, and work at your own pace.

Who is the drawing workshop for?

This workshop is suitable for anyone who:

You don’t need experience, and you don’t need to think of yourself as “creative”. We meet you where you are. For one person that’s very simple shapes. For another it might already be slightly more complex subjects.

Structure and atmosphere

The drawing workshop lasts about four hours and can be followed individually or in a small group. We build the exercises up calmly: from loose lines and shapes to small objects and — if you like — a simple anime character or another straightforward full image. In between we discuss what works, what you notice yourself, and what you can continue practicing.

We keep the atmosphere calm and easy to follow. If you get overstimulated quickly or feel anxious working in a group, mention it when you sign up. We’ll see whether a one-on-one workshop or a smaller setting fits you better.

Practical information and costs

This drawing workshop follows our regular workshop format and rate. That means:

For this workshop we use the same fixed rate as for our other workshops: € 50.00 per person per workshop. If you want to come with a small group (for example friends, colleagues, or a family), we’ll align the program and level in consultation.

Plan a workshop or want to know more?

We don’t work with a fixed schedule; we plan drawing workshops based on sign-ups. Want to join or register a small group? Send us a message via Make an appointment with:

We respond with a proposal and look together at what is doable. Not sure whether drawing fits you — or how you can use drawing as preparation for another project? Put your questions in your message. We’re happy to think along.
