The Owl’s Nest is a community workshop with multiple locations. You can drop in for coffee and a calm place to be, you can make or repair something, you can learn a craft.
We work without memberships or punch cards. If you would rather be sure there is time and space, you can make an appointment.
Get out of the house for a bit, be around people in a calm way, or pick up something small. Dropping in is fine. It stays small-scale and focused on doing, without fuss.
Work on your own project with benches, tools and guidance. Wood, metal, welding, electronics, 3D printing and design; car DIY by appointment.
Make something beautiful with attention. Drawing and craft workshops such as stained glass, Tiffany, glass painting, mosaic and woodworking.
The Owl’s Nest is a community workshop. A place where you can walk in, have a coffee, and do something with your hands in a calm way. Sometimes that is a workshop. Sometimes a small project.
What you’ll find here is a mix of activities: making and repairing, arts and crafts, practical technique and explanation, and a coffee corner where you can land for a moment.
We are not a creative hub or business incubator that rents out units or studios on monthly contracts. And we are not a commercial workshop where you “drop something off to get it done”. You come here to work yourself, to learn, or to build something up step by step, with guidance where that helps.
