Campaigns

Not every need can be summed up well in a short request. Sometimes more explanation is needed about what is happening, why something is needed and what different contributions can make possible. That is what we use campaigns for.

A campaign can concern a specific purchase or development, but also something that recurs regularly. It therefore does not always need a fixed target amount or an end date. The aim may, for example, be to keep certain materials available, cover recurring costs or build something up step by step.

More than just money

A campaign does not have to be a financial fundraising campaign. Depending on the purpose, time, knowledge or practical help may also be needed, someone may be able to contribute materials or equipment, or financial support may be the most practical option.

Each campaign explains its purpose, who is responsible for it and how contributions are used or handled. The way this works can therefore differ from one campaign to another.

When is a campaign complete?

That varies. Some campaigns have a clear end point, while others remain relevant for as long as the described need exists. An older article can therefore still be current. Check the description and any update date before contributing.
