Who the workshop is for

Using the workshop here is for people who want to work on their own project, but lack the space, quiet, or tools at home. At The Owl’s Nest you get a place where you can actually move forward, with someone nearby to think along if you get stuck.

We focus on small-scale use: individual projects, repairs, prototypes, study assignments, and hands-on experiments. No studio/unit rentals, no monthly contracts, and no large-scale production.

Pick what fits you best

The workshop is for different people and situations. Below you will find the page that best matches your question.

Local residents

Drop in, have a coffee or tea, and come in without hassle. Take a breather, have a chat, or pick up something small.

Making and repairing

Workbenches, tools, and machines. You work on your project; we help you move forward safely and practically.

Arts and crafts

Space and guidance for creative projects, plus workshops in a small setting. Build your work at a calm pace.

Rest and recovery

Low-stimulus, tailored, and safe. For people who want to rebuild and practise self-reliance, sometimes as part of a trajectory.

Volunteers

Do something meaningful, share knowledge, and build something for the neighbourhood. Small team, real impact.

For professionals

Are you coming through an organisation?

Are you working with someone in our workshop on behalf of an organisation, institution, or employer? In most cases that does not fall under half-day workshop use, but under a trajectory or collaboration. See For professionals or contact us to discuss what fits.
