Requests

Sometimes it is very clear what is needed: someone who can help for a few hours, a particular kind of knowledge, a missing part or the financial means to purchase something. Such needs are published as requests, so it is clear what is needed, for whom the request has been published and how someone can contribute.

A request may involve time, knowledge and practical help, materials and equipment or a financial contribution. Sometimes several forms are possible at the same time. A repair, for example, may need both a part and someone with the right knowledge.

Specific needs can change

Some requests are fulfilled quickly, while others remain relevant for longer or change as circumstances change. Requests are therefore dated, and an article may indicate when the information was last updated.

Always read the current description of a request. It explains not only what is needed, but also the context and any practical conditions.
