Bozuki is our project car: an older Suzuki hatchback that we are gradually turning into a practical training object and a rolling calling card for The Owl’s Nest. Instead of building a perfect show car, we deliberately choose a car with signs of use, old repairs and some neglected maintenance here and there. That gives us room to explain calmly what we do, why we change certain things and what the consequences are for safety, reliability and everyday use.
An important principle is that Bozuki remains a legal, roadworthy car. Every modification is checked against what is allowed on public roads and what is practical. Instead of a project that only travels on a trailer to shows, we want to show what happens when you give an older car a new life with limited means and well-considered choices.
Around Bozuki we make photos, notes and, where possible, diagrams that we publish on the Bozuki site and on the foundation’s channels. In this way the car is not only an internal learning object, but also a source of knowledge for anyone who wants to work on a similar car, repair or conversion themselves.
