For metalworking you can come to our Paul Krugerstraat location. For small jobs you can often drop in (when the welcome sign is on). We keep things clear and safe: sparks, noise, and heavier work are always coordinated briefly so it fits the staffing and the space.
Metalworking here is meant for small-scale projects, repairs, and making or adapting parts. No production runs and no large-scale manufacturing.
For basic operations we have, among other things:
Please note: due to building works, the milling machine and the metal lathe are currently not set up. Drilling, cutting, grinding and smaller hand work are still possible.
For cutting, grinding and finishing we have, among other things:
This is ideal for adjusting brackets, plates, profiles and parts, deburring, fitting, and preparing work for welding.
Welding is also possible, but it is a separate discipline here and always something to coordinate in advance. See Welding.
For small jobs you can often drop in at Paul Krugerstraat. For work that produces a lot of sparks, takes longer, or where you want to be sure the right setup is available, it is best to call ahead or make an appointment.
If possible, bring:
Metalworking requires protection and attention (sparks, sharp edges, noise). That is why we always coordinate heavier work briefly. When in doubt, we choose the safe option, or plan a moment when it fits well in the workshop.
Metalworking and welding often go together. See what is possible and what we do together/under guidance.
For larger jobs, spark-producing work, or if you want to be sure a setup is available. Coordinate in advance.
Guideline prices per half-day and what is usually included. Pay-what-you-can options.
