Privacy

We keep privacy practical. On this website we process technical data (such as server logs) and data you choose to provide (such as via the contact form). Context matters too: a walk-in visit or a workshop is different from a pathway or support setting.

Website privacy

• Server logs: we keep raw log data for up to 90 days. After that we only keep aggregated daily statistics (such as total unique visitors, average visit duration, and a count per referrer hostname).
• Cookies: this website does not place cookies.
• Contact form: you enter data yourself (such as your name and email address) so we can reply. One-off contact messages are kept for up to 12 months after completion.
• Audience-dependent routing: on this website, the contact form (or the category you choose) may determine which internal contact point receives your message. Privacy requests are handled via privacy@the-owls-nest.nl.
• YouTube: where videos are used, we use the no-cookie variant. If you load or play a video, YouTube may still process technical data to deliver the player.

More information

On this website we explain what happens here in terms of privacy (contact, workshops and using the workshop space), but the general foundation-wide basis and arrangements are centralised on the main site in the central privacy statement. The main site also hosts our canary statement: a transparency page we update periodically about requests and special circumstances.

For privacy questions or requests such as access, correction, or deletion, email privacy@the-owls-nest.nl. This address is handled internally and, if independent review is needed, may be involved with an external functionary.
