Thank you for considering a donation to The Owl’s Nest and the IRADIS foundation / ASK-Solutions. Your support helps us keep the workshop running: tools that work, materials on the shelves, coffee on the table and a place where people can work, learn and catch their breath in a calm environment.

What your contribution makes possible

Your donation is not spent on extras, but on the day-to-day work in and around the workshop. Think of:

buying and maintaining tools, soldering stations, saw blades and other equipment;
materials such as wood, glass, electronic components, fixings and consumables;
rent, energy and furnishings, so there continues to be a stable, quiet place in the neighbourhood;
being able to offer workshops and support to people who have little to spend;
gradually expanding, so we can welcome more people and offer better trajectories.

Smaller amounts make a difference too: a box of screws, a set of new soldering tips or a part of the rent already helps us further. On the Support us page you can read more generally about what we do with contributions.

One-off or regular donations

You can choose whether you want to give once or support us more regularly. Some people make a donation once a year, others choose a smaller fixed amount each month. Both forms help us to keep the workshop going in a stable way.

You can easily set up a recurring donation yourself via your own bank. In PayPal you can also create a recurring payment yourself if you prefer.

PayPal charges transaction fees to the recipient (about 1.5% + € 0.35 per donation). For smaller amounts and international donations this is often a practical solution.

If you add “Donation The Owl’s Nest” in the description, we immediately know what the payment is for. Bank transfers are usually slightly cheaper for us in terms of transaction costs (around € 0.30 per transaction) than PayPal, especially for larger or regular amounts.
